Oral interviews and transcripts beginning in the late 1950s of notable local community members, such as Fred McMillan who was born in Stanislaus County in 1876. CSU Stanislaus acts as a repository for the interviews done by the Stanislaus County Oral History Project sponsored by the McHenry Museum and Historical Society. University Archives holds a similar collection of oral interviews of significant CSU Stanislaus faculty, staff, and administrators.

Viewing stereographs was a popular pastime in the mid-19th to early 20th centuries. This collection of 441 stereograph cards covers an array of topics, including world events, Indigenous Americans, travel, science, history, and education.

When viewed through a device called a stereoscope, the dual images taken from slightly different perspectives result in a single image with a remarkable illusion of depth.
